Welcome to Paws N Plates Canine Cuisine!

Hi my name is Nancy and I have been a dog lover for over 30 years, I love to make sure that my furry friends have the best life imaginable. Nancy has been cooking for her own furry companions for the past 15 years. I have done research in the field of culinary delights for my furry companions and decided that I would set up a blog to help others in their desire to cook wholesome foods for their own furry companions.

Welcome to Paws N Plates Canine Cuisine, where every recipe is a tale of love for our furry companions! As the founder of Paws N Plates, I’m excited to share the heartfelt story of how this culinary adventure began. It all started with a simple desire to provide my own beloved pup with wholesome and delicious meals. Faced with limited options in the pet food market. “While dry dog food serves as a convenient option for many pet owners, it’s essential to be aware of the ingredients used in its formulation. Some commercial dry dog foods may contain a variety of ingredients that can vary in quality and nutritional value. It’s important to carefully review the ingredient list and consider factors such as the source of proteins, carbohydrates, and additives in the dog food. While many dry dog foods provide essential nutrients, some individuals may prefer alternative options such as homemade meals or specialized diets tailored to their pet’s unique needs. Ultimately, the decision about which food to feed your furry companion should be made with careful consideration and consultation with a veterinarian.” and a passion for cooking, Nancy has begun experimenting with homemade recipes tailored to my furry companions nutritional needs and taste preferences. Witnessing the joy and vitality these meals brought to my own furry companions life ignited a spark within me. I realized that there was a gap in the market for nutritious and flavorful canine cuisine, and thus, Paws N Plates Canine Cuisine was born. What started as a personal quest to nourish my own pet has blossomed into a community-driven platform dedicated to sharing the joy of homemade treats and vet-approved meals with fellow dog lovers worldwide. Join us on this heartfelt journey as we celebrate the unconditional love and companionship of our four-legged friends, one delicious dish at a time.

Nancy has been implementing a holistic approach to keeping her dogs healthy which involves a balanced diet, regular exercise, and routine veterinary check-ups. Start by providing high-quality, nutritionally balanced food to meet your dog’s specific needs. Regular exercise, such as daily walks and playtime, is essential for maintaining a healthy weight and promoting mental stimulation. Keep an eye on their dental health by incorporating chew toys or dental treats.

Nancy will be sharing some recipes that she has used along with the right meats, vegetables, fruits and spices to feed your fur babies. Please check with your Veterinarian before you start any new things, if your pet is on pills this might not be safe and might encounter allergic effects in your animal. Ensuring the well being of your animal is not just a responsibility but a joyful commitment.

Hydration is crucial, so always ensure fresh water is readily available. Regular vet visits for vaccinations and preventive care can catch potential issues early. Pay attention to any changes in behavior, appetite, or bathroom habits, as these can be indicators of underlying health concerns. Finally, shower your pup with love and attention—emotional well-being is just as important as physical health. A happy and healthy dog is a cherished companion for years to come.

Nancy’s History

Nancy has been breeding Dachshunds and Shih Tzu’s for over 30 years. I have a Labrador Rescue now and love it. It’s a lot of work but I wouldn’t have it any other way. The love that I have for my animals.

When my first dachshund got sick I was determined to make sure that none of my other dogs would incur the same situation that Martha had to go through. This is when I started to do research on what to feed the animals and how it would affect their health for the long haul. What spices, meats and vegetables that would be safe for them. After 25 years of research I came up with recipes that I would be happy to share with my readers.
